1. It depends on where you live, just start calling all the banks that it might be convenient for you to have to visit.
2. it depends on the banks that are around you. Every state has different banks :) Most banks do have a free checking account tho if that is what you are looking for.
3. there are deals all over the place where they will give you 50 to 100 dollars to open up a new checking account with new money. you may want to be more specific in your location to get more specific answers. Bank rates suck everywhere right now so the best you are going to get is a open a checking account with new money reward.
